"Is this the best-ever version of "Cherry Bomb"? No doubt! The mighty Streetwalkin' Cheetahs and Cherie Currie rip it up right and proper!" - Lord Rutledge

"I'm not sure if it's exactly a cover when the original singer is singing the entire song, but when legendary rockers The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs bring in the legendary Cherie Currie for a version of The Runaways' "Cherry Bomb," how can we not pay attention? I'm going to assume we all know the original iconic song, and The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs nail the song perfectly. This is just no nonsense garage rock and roll mixed with OG punk rock in the best possible way. If you think you're going to like this cover, you definitely will." - If It's Too Loud

"Rum Bar Records has been on another tear with lots of releases. They have a new 2 CD collection coming out of covers by Los Angeles rockers The Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs. The leading single is “Cherry Bomb” and they have Cherie Currie doing the singing! Say what? That’s a score." - Boston Groupie News

"Cherry Bomb is a great introduction as it contained a hint of wildness mixed with danger. Currie is not to be taken on without gloves on and the band matches that in the tightness of playing and the great guitar solo. Great punkrock song it is." - WoNo Blog

“When the Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs started out in 1995, one of the first songs we ever played in our first rehearsal was ‘Cherry Bomb.' Soon alter, we went and saw Cherie and Sandy West perform at a club and asked her for to sign our Runaways albums. That’s what nerdy super-fans of hers were are. She came to see one of our first gigs a week later and jumped onstage to sing ‘Cherry Bomb,’ and that really kick started our whole career. Then we recorded our punked-up version of it with Cherie signing for a vinyl single. The fine folks at Rum Bar Records are re-releasing that single as part of a 2-CD collection of all the covers we ever recorded — All The Covers (And More) — and we just couldn’t be happier.” - Frank Meyer

"I love the Cheetahs version of 'Cherry Bomb.' I met Frank and Dino early on, liked them from the start, and have stayed friends ever since. Frank Meyer has turned me on to so many memorable gigs, sessions, and people during our three decades of friendship. He is an exceptional player, performer, singer and song writer. A selfless human being that I am so proud to call one of my very best friends!” - Cherie Currie
