Over the years, curious fans have approached the bandstand, cocktails in hand, and asked us, ‘How long have you been playing?’ Our answer: Since 8 o’clock! (Rim shot!) The fact is, it’s been over forty years and twenty-six albums since we landed our frst gig in Hollywood, California (1982) at Club Lingerie on the fabulous Sunset Strip. What a fun run it has been. We’d like to raise our glasses and offer a toast to all our listeners and the many fine folks who have frequented our shows through the years. Completely got my love for surf music re kindled. What the Stray Cats are to post rockabilly the Bomboras are to post surf.
