Jittery Jack along with guitarist Amy Griffin make Rockabilly all new again. They make it feel current and it glows with good feelings. There’s so much packed into the title song “Tonight’s the Night” that you could just sit on that for a while. There is appeal for locals in “Tavern At the End of My Career”. The title comes from a comment from Corin Ashley when he played the Charlestown bar Tavern At the End of the World. There’s a little Chuck Berry in “Winter in New England”. “Avid Indoorsman” has some very clever lyrics to check out. Listening to the whole thing at once is the way to go. The song is a pitch perfect rockabilly tune but then there's Amy Griffin! She fills up the song with non-stop choice rockabilly fills. They are clear as a bell with wonderful tone. At long last, we've finally recorded a new album! The 9 years since our previous record were at first filled with gigs near and far, but as time wore on and the pandemic hit, it was looking increasingly questionable whether there'd EVER be another Jittery record. But in the Fall of 2023, Jack got ambitious and booked studio time and a record release show, despite having nary a song laid down! This prompted some feverish productivity, starting with two August sessions as a duo in Amy's basement, cobbling together voice memos to send to our intrepid rhythm section of Johnny Sciascia and Teddy Fury. Then there was a September weekend of recording live to get basics, two October Sundays of lead guitar and problem-fixing, and then it was off to Shorty Poole to be mixed and mastered in November - a real whirlwind! We hope you enjoy these 13 new original tracks, and that we can bring the show on the road to a town near you. - Jack and Amy, Dec. 4, 2023.

They’re fast becoming a household name on the roots/rockabilly/rockin' circuit worldwide, headlining festivals such as Viva Las Vegas & the UK's Rockabilly Rave. They have shared the stage with Imelda May, JD McPherson, Big Sandy, The Bellfuries, and Deke Dickerson, and toured all over the world from the dive bars of Providence and Tacoma to festival stages in Finland and Australia.
