Sal creates a set of rock 'n' roll pulp fiction characters to inhabit his songs with "The Boy with the Amplifier Head," "Two Headed Girl," "Who's That Girl" and "Starleen." And "Teenage Damage" shoves all that attitude into the first person. "Big Wax Lips" will make you spit out your milk. And "Beat Club" is the place we all wish we could go to.
